The rooms at Francolinhof Guest House are incredibly cozy and comfortable. The beds are soft and the seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. I loved the view from our room, it looked out onto the majestic mountains. It really added to the tranquil atmosphere of the guest house. The rooms are equipped with everything we needed, from a fridge to a kettle. It made our stay convenient and hassle-free. The soundproofing in the room was fantastic. We couldn't hear any noise from the outside, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
Personally, I would have preferred a room with a balcony. But that's just my preference, I'm sure others would still enjoy the rooms without one.

The views from the hotel were breathtaking and there were plenty of great spots to take those epic sunset Instagram photos. the breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious food that would make anyone's morning. Plus, the hotel had a great location close to hiking trails and other local attractions.
Our New Year's stay at the hotel was soured by a lack of upkeep and maintenance. Our room was dirty and outdated and the bed was uncomfortable.

Spectacular Views and Great Location
Nestled against the mountain with breathtaking views of the bay and mountains, this hotel was an ideal location to explore the area. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, yet within easy reach of the town. The rooms were clean, spacious and airy with comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of options to choose from that exceeded our expectations. Being close to the Fernkloof Nature Reserve was a plus.
The only downside of this hotel was the limited television options available. Although guests could request certain channels it had to be done manually in the owners' living area.
